Reservation Method and Ticket Price

  1. Opening date for reservation:Reservations can be made from 10 days before the travel date until 4 PM, 2 days before the travel date
    For example: Reservations for the service on 9/30 (Friday) can begin on 9/20 (Tuesday), with the reservation deadline being 4:00 PM on 9/28 (Wednesday).
  2. Online Reservation, Pay on Site:
    (1) Cash Payment: Purchase tickets from the driver (no change provided on the bus, please bring exact change)
    (2) Or pay with an electronic ticket (EasyCard, iPASS, AiCard)
  3. Cash fare: 121 TWD; Card fare: 106 TWD.
    (1) If there are any adjustments to the fare, it will be based on the announcements made by Nantou Bus.
    (2) Using the National Chi Nan University digital student ID for the ride will entitle you to an additional 15% discount. (No further discount during the half-price period for Haoxing services)

Reservation Steps

  1. Reservation Booking: Make reservations on the Nantou Vacation website. https://ntbus.welcometw.com/tour/6YNx
  2. Reservation Check-in: Arrive at the student cafeteria bus stop 10 minutes before departure to queue for the bus. Board the bus in order 5 minutes before departure. Before boarding, please inform the driver of your reservation name to facilitate cross-checking with the list.
  3. Complete Payment: After boarding, remember to purchase your ticket in cash from the driver or swipe your card when boarding and alighting.

Important Notes

  1. This service operates on a minimum group size basis: Each trip requires a minimum of 35 passengers (inclusive) to proceed, with a full capacity of 37 passengers. (The reservation group size will be adjusted according to actual demand)
  2. Reservation Notification Email Explanation
    (1) [Reservation Registration Notification Email (Not Yet Formed a Group)]: If the desired date and trip are not yet full, upon making a reservation, you will first receive a system-generated Reservation Registration Notification Email indicating that the group has not yet been formed.
    (2) [Confirmed Group Formation Notification Email]: After the deadline for forming a group, if the number of reservations meets the required standard, the system will send a Confirmed Group Formation Notification Email (including a successful reservation QR code) to your email. Please present the QR code from this email to the driver for confirmation on the day of your reservation.
    (3) [Group Formation Failure Notification Email], [Cancellation Success Notification Email]: After the deadline for forming a group, if the final number of reservations does not meet the standard, you will receive a Group Formation Failure Notification Email and a Cancellation Success Notification Email. The system will automatically cancel the original reservation record.
    (4) For trips that have been confirmed to depart with a formed group, those who did not make a reservation can queue on site for any available standby spots.

※Blacklist Mechanism: If an account makes reservations and fails to attend for more than 3 seats, the system will automatically suspend this account's privileges.
To prevent situations where passengers make bulk reservations but fail to show up, affecting the booking rights of others, the system will automatically block an account if it has reservations for the return home shuttle service and fails to attend for more than 3 seats.
For example: If a passenger, A, reserves 4 seats but only redeems 1 seat on the day of booking, the system will automatically block their booking account after the reservation time passes, preventing them from making any further reservations.
※For passengers who are unable to travel as planned, it is essential to apply for a [Cancellation of Reservation]. Please refer to the website for the cancellation procedure and usage restrictions.
