Responsibilities
- New engineering project planning:
- Submit a conceptual proposal for the project to the supervisory authority to secure funding.
- Once the proposal is approved, select a planning and design firm or architect.
- Review the content of the planning and design objectives.
- Submit the required budget for the objectives and the planning and design report to the higher-level supervisory authority for approval.
- After the planning and design are approved, proceed with the subsequent bidding process.
- Supervision of ongoing construction projects:
- Implement the annual budget and conduct bidding operations.
- Promote the allocation of budget for the projects and carry out acceptance procedures.
- Supervise and handle tasks such as project inspection, testing, quantity surveying, and dispute resolution.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments related to project planning, design, and construction.
- Building maintenance:
- Elevator maintenance in each building.
- Regular safety inspections of public areas and fire safety equipment in each building.
- Maintenance and servicing of chillers and air conditioning equipment.
- Annual inspections of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Boiler maintenance for graduate dormitories and fitness centers.
- Maintenance, repairs, replacement of parts, and replenishment of consumables for building structures, campus power supply, water supply systems, air conditioning, elevators, roads, streetlights, and other public facilities. Handling sporadic emergency situations.
- Tendering, procurement, acceptance, and verification of maintenance work.
- Notification and implementation of warranty obligations for projects.

To apply for maintenance in the civil engineering and electrical aspects, please follow the steps below:
Access the maintenance request system: Please go to the maintenance request system and fill out the appropriate form online.
Submission to the maintenance department: Once the online application form is completed, it will be sent to the maintenance department for processing.
On-site work or outsourcing: Upon receiving the application, the maintenance department will dispatch personnel to the site for repairs. Alternatively, they may consider outsourcing the work or assigning it to a pre-contracted service provider.
Confirmation of completion: After the repairs have been completed, the requesting unit should acknowledge and sign off on the work. The completion of the maintenance will be recorded in the computer system.
